I won the graded 1941 Walking Liberty coin for $15.00 and pd $26.00 for shipping. They refused to ship the coin. When I entered my credit card I stated I want my coins shipped. I live 150 miles from the auction house and it would be economically stupid to pick up the coin. Transportation costs to pick up would be about $60.00 (gas + tolls). I got the $26.00 back after 1 month but not the $19.14 for the coin.

We’d like to clarify some important points about this situation to ensure there is no misunderstanding. As clearly outlined in our auction terms and reiterated in multiple reminders, our auction is a pick-up only auction. Winning bidders are responsible for notifying us within 24 hours if they wish to arrange shipping. We also provide several reminders throughout the process, including shipping fees and instructions on how to arrange shipping or pick-up. Unfortunately, we did not receive any communication from you within the required timeframe, and multiple courtesy reminders went unanswered including on pick-up day. As a result, the item was deemed forfeited according to our policy.We understand that traveling to pick up the item may have been inconvenient, but it is important for all bidders to follow the procedures outlined in our policies for a smooth transaction. We do not have a “ship item” button on our platform, and as stated in our terms, the responsibility to request shipping was on the bidder. To clarify the timeline: we did not hear from you about shipping or pick-up until almost two weeks after the pick-up deadline, when the item had already been forfeited. Additionally, your payment for shipping was submitted weeks after the forfeiture. While we did issue a refund for the shipping payment made after the forfeiture, it’s important to note that the item had already been deemed forfeited, and we are unable to ship forfeited items.Our team works diligently to ensure all bidders are informed and supported, sending multiple reminders and providing ample time for response. We take great pride in ensuring fairness and consistency across all auctions, as these policies are in place to maintain transparency and ensure a smooth experience for all participants.We sincerely appreciate your feedback, and we hope this clarifies our position on the matter. Got a small item, couple inches tall. Shipping was $15 plus the price of shipping (around $6), which did feel like a lot for the item. Shipping did take a while to arrive, but items was wrapped and protected.

PICK UP: MOST ITEMS IN OUR AUCTIONS ARE PICK UP ONLY

Pick Up Dates will be shown during auction with local Pick Up location information. Be sure that you can pick up the item or arrange to have someone pick up the item for you on the DAY and LOCATION that is specifed in the auction listing. We do require photo ID upon pick up. Please note: If the item is part of an estate, the actual street address will be sent via email to the WINNING BIDDERS with time slot for pick up.

WInning Bidders will receive pick-up location information and specific time slot to pick up your winning items. All bidders understand and agree that if you do not show up to pick up your item(s) at the designated TIME SLOT and PICK UPLOCATION, you will forfeit your items and NO refund will be given to you.

All items must be paid for immediately upon auction end. Any item that is unpaid for within 12 hours of auction end will incur an amount that is double the Winning Bid price or the HIGH ESIMATE, whichever is higher.

We do our best to descibe the items via description ad photos, please be sure to review ite description AND all photos, and ask questions PRIOR to bidding.Once you have bid on an item, if you are the highest bidder, there will be no refunds.

MOST ITEMS ARE PICK UP ONLY>>> MAKE SURE YOURS QUALIFIES FOR SHIPPING BEFORE BIDDING.

SHIPPING: A handful of items in our auctions are have an option to be shipped. If your item says PICK UP ONLY, it will NOT be shipped to you.

If your item has a shipping option, you can request to have the item shipped. All shipping fees are at BIDDERS EXPENSE.. The Shipping fees are for Flat Rate Priority Mail Shipping and Insurance from NJ to your location, PLUS you will also be charged a $15 fee for a staff member to deliver any or all of your winning items to the USPS: All Priority Mail shipment include tracking, which we will post for you so you can follow your winning item(s) to your location.

Shipping & Handling is usually 3-5 days, however can be up to 7 days.
