Let me start with my issues were NOT directly with the auction company themselves. They listed items well, items were as expected, and was responsive. My issue is with UPS, who is unfortunately the only option for shipping. I have bought many items from auctions. I am fairly versed in what shipping costs and the process. If you are not local and require shipping, PLEASE STEER AWAY! To start, I was quoted a cost for shipping that was almost as much as the items I purchased, and equating to roughly $60 per item (zero large items). I had to spend my time over the next two weeks going back and forth with UPS about the quote almost daily. Stressing to the point I thought I was going to have to actually take time off work and book a flight to pick up as even that was less expensive. Insane, I know. In the end, this whole experience was ruined by the stress of the shipping and time spent before I even got my items (which was a little over a month). I was left with no choice but to pay the shipping in the end as there was going to be all these extra charges if I didn't. I felt strong armed quite frankly. I am sorry to leave a bad review but out of state buyers absolutely need to know the disaster shipping will turn out to be if buying multiple/large bulk of items. And most importantly know what they are getting into before bidding as that changes everything.


In response to your response, I know how much it cost to ship. Very aware. And they are absolutely 100% taking advantage of people. I had to go back-and-forth for two weeks as the shipping quote was as much as the items that I bought. Quoted almost $1k btw.... Yes, they finally came down to the price that I told them I had NO choice but to pay in order to get my items and without them telling me they would charge me a fee for my items sitting there if I traveled to pick up. So no, the items were definitely there before they lowered the quote. I have never felt so strong armed in my life. Unfortunately, this whole experience is going to put me out a lot of money and as I already explained the enjoyment of even getting these items. Out of state buyers need to absolutely beware!

I had an excellent experience with Full of Surprizes Estate and Tag Sales Auctions. I wasn't able to pick up my items during the scheduled pickup time, and their team went above and beyond to help me arrange an early pickup through Uber Delivery. They were incredibly accommodating, responsive, and easy to work with. Every item arrived safely, exactly as described in the listing. Outstanding customer service and a truly professional team. I highly recommend them and would gladly bid with them again!

My $64 winning bid turned into $112 after an 18% premium, taxes (NH?) and $29.95 in shipping from Long Island to New Hampshire which seems to be taking a very long time. I understand the 18% premium, but the shipping was the highest I ever paid for any coin.

EDIT: As of 7/21 I was told this hasn't even left the UPS store. I'm beyond aggravated and I'll have to refrain from bidding your auctions in the future. I'll let my fellow collectors know to avoid this auctioneer.

Edit: 7/23 coin arrived. I highly recommend a different shipping service. Over two weeks to receive a coin 300miles away is a bit much.

I bought a lot with 3 brooches a little over the size of a quarter each. I wish the listing would have indicated the small size- but I purchased anyway. Anyway- these items were placed in a huge box. It could not fit in my mail box. The fee was high because the box was so big and so unneccessary. I dont mind paying for shipping and fees associated with shipping but this was rediculous. I dont know it the auction company packed the box or UPS- if it was UPS they are clearly taking advantage of the situation. Either way, I will not purchase from them again.
