Q: When is payment due for items won in an auction?
A: Payment for all items won in an auction is due immediately upon close of the auction. As per our terms of service, your total invoice will be auto-debited from the credit card you have on file with our credit card processor, Stripe. This charge includes the hammer prices, buyer’s premiums, and all applicable sales tax for the items you won. The charge will display on your credit card statement as CARAuction.

A: If your payment is declined due to incorrect information or lack of funds, your items will not be available for pickup until payment has been received. We understand that issues can arise, however, we do ask that you get any payment issues corrected by the start of the first pickup window.

Please note that a 15% handling and shipping materials fee will be added to the retail cost of shipping, and all orders over $100 will automatically be insured at the buyer's expense for the cost of the hammer price. CarolinaAntique is not responsible for any lost or broken items. All claims will need to be made by the buyer directly through UPS or USPS.
