Woodbury Auction has been synonymous with quality estate auctions in Litchfield County since inception in 2009, formed by Thomas Schwenke, nationally recognized authority on antique furniture and a specialist in American Federal Furniture . Over the past thirteen years the firm has held over 100 live and live/online estate auctions and sold thousands of lots for several million dollars. Woodbury Auction is the regional estate liquidation division of Schwenke Group LLC which does business both as Schwenke Auctioneers and Woodbury Auction. Currently Schwenke Auctioneers holds on average five major catalogued internet broadcasted estate actions each year, and clients include museums, collectors, dealers and designers, seasoned experienced auction “veterans” as well as new devotees of the auction buying experience.
