I. USE OF SITE By bidding on any auction, you agree to the terms and conditions of this site.

II. MEMBERSHIP A. You must Register for a membership and You accept the terms and conditions of the membership.

Membership is readily available to anyone over the age of eighteen with a valid credit card.

B. By Bidding you are entering into a binding and legal agreement with Modern Realty.

C. As a Member you must opt in to recieve email communications from us for Transaction statements,Billing, P.U. information and furture Auctions.

D. As a Member you must agree and acknowledge that you will maintain valid credit card information with your membership profile.

E. All bids submitted at Modern Realty are final and irrevocable. All Items are sold "As is Where is" with no warranty of working order or condition. Modern Realty will do its best to list any damages, repairs, restorations, or conditions. The absence of these descriptions or conditions must not be taken to imply the lot is in perfect condition. Please note all items are used, vintage and/or antiques. You should expect signs of wear consistent with age and use.

F. If you are the winning bid when the Hammer drops, you authorize Modern Realty at end of auction to charge your credit card or debit card you entered on this site, all items won, plus CT sales Tax and a buyers premium 18%

G. For Tax Exempt you must email us your information and Tax Exempt / resale certificate before the sales starts.

H. You agree not to dispute charges on transactions corresponding to the terms indicated in this authorization outline.

III. PICK-UP Items Won A. Successful buyers must pickup their items at the designated sale location within the assigned time frame as stated in the sales details page.

B. Succesful Buyers are RESPONDSIBLE for supplying ALL LABOR, EQUIPMENT and MATERIALS required for pickup and removal of their items.

C. You agree to pay for any damage you cause to personal property in removal of items. Please be careful and respectful of auction site.

IV. FORFEITED ITEMS A. We do realize some items or lots may require special handling or pickup dates. Please contact us prior to bidding if you are unable to meet pickup terms and conditions outlined in the sales detail page.

B. Items not picked up in sales detail terms or prior "Special Arrangements" Terms that have been made with Modern Realty will ultimately be forfeited by you. Modern Realty reserves the right to resell, donate or dispose of items not picked up and/or removed.

C. You agree to pay a disposal fee of 100.00 for each forfeited lot that are heavy weighted and or require disessembling (ie. furniture). These auctions are estate liquidation and require all items to be removed from the estate by the final pick-up date. Owners of said estate nor our company are not subject to disposal fees of your forfeited property.

V. PROHIBITED USE You agree not to sell, license, rent, modify, distribute, copy, reproduce, transmit, publicly display, publicly perform, publish, adapt, edit or create derivative works from content or materials on the Site. Use of the content and materials for any purpose not expressly permitted in these Terms of Use is prohibited. You may not decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or otherwise reduce the Site to a human-perceivable form, except and only to the extent that such activity is expressly permitted by applicable law, and in that case, only if you notify us in writing in advance. You may not copy, frameset, enclose or otherwise distribute any part of the Site.

Job description:

Accept work assignments to conduct a full online live Auction.Work in the field at clients property, and in our liquidation center. Photograph, Write detailed description of auction items,Place inventory into lots and upload to auction sites. Run and Monitor online auction. Run end reports of auctions, Assist customers during pick up of won lots for the aution.

Job Requirements:

   • Must have reliable transportation. 

   • Must be courteous and polite, While working out on the field.

   • Hours in the office and on on computer availble, In which you will be trained accordingly.

   • Must have strong computer skills.

   • Ability to photograph.

   • Edit/Upload files.

   • Management and Running reports. 

   • Excellent communications and organizational skills.

   • Must have up to date laptop with Windows 10, Printer, DSLR Camera and Smart phone.

   • General knowlage on Household, Vintage and Antique items.

   • Appraisal certificate or willing to take an online course which will be company paid.

   • Must pass background check. 

Salary:

Commission on all assigned auctions - Percentage determined on experience.
