The response was slow and I received items really late even with the high handling fee. I followed up from my end.
Unfortunately, the camera listed was not working. They didn't mentioned it and not sure if they really didn't know the issue.

Additionally, all items are listed as untested unless specified otherwise in the description. I had emailed to inform the seller that we would be arriving at 3pm to pick up the two cabinets we won. Upon arrival. the cabinets were not only blocked in with boxes and tables that had to be moved, but were filled with items to be emptied including a tv on top that was still wired to cabling that had to be detached. My husband and I, both in our 70's had to move this all. All the while, the owner of the Auction site was aggressively hawking jewelry to anyone who appeared to pick up their winning items. After getting the two cabinets out of the house and out to our pick up truck, we asked if anyone could help us lift them into the truck. Said, jewelry hawker, he was "too Busy", obviously tying to sell his jewelry at 90% off retail. We finally got the homeowners son? to help us It which took all of 2 minutes to lift onto the pickup truck bed. We thanked him and gave him a $20. . Will NEVER buy from this seller again!

We explicitly state in the auction description, the winning email, and on every item listing that we cannot assist with lifting furniture, and buyers must bring adequate help. Unfortunately, it’s disappointing that some choose to disregard these clear instructions and shift the blame onto others.

The item was missing critical parts - lens, power cord which was not mentioned in the description.
The pickup was extremely disorganized and understaffed. The house was a disaster area and items were not identified or ready for pick up.
Lastly, pickup was scheduled at rush hour on a week day in a area of Queens only reachable by car - of course traffic was horrendous.

The photos clearly show no power cord included plus no power cord was mentioned in the description, you made an assumption Also, every bidder, including yourself is aware of the town and the time for pick up so the fact that you were complaining about New York City traffic is very questionable. You also said that if I gave you a projector that didn’t sell. It would make everything okay, and you took the projector and still give us a negative review. Doesn’t look too good on your part. We went above and beyond for you, and we’re very nice.

Hold Harmless

By placing a bid and agreeing to pick up the purchased items, the Bidder and any individuals or entities associated with the Bidder agree to save, defend, keep harmless, and indemnify the Company, as well as its agents, clients, volunteers, board members, employees, and partners, from any and all claims, losses, damages, injuries, costs (including court costs and attorney's fees), charges, liabilities, or exposures arising out of or connected to the pick-up of items at the premises designated by the Company. This includes, but is not limited to, any injuries or damages sustained by the Bidder or their associates while on the premises.

Mandatory Arbitration

By placing any bid, you agree that if a dispute arises related to this auction that exceeds $10,000, including the bidding process, item pickup, or any other aspect of participation, and if the parties are unable to resolve the dispute directly, the parties agree to first attempt resolution through mediation administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Commercial Mediation Procedures. If mediation does not resolve the issue, any unresolved controversy or claim arising out of or relating to this auction shall be resolved through arbitration administered by the AAA in accordance with its Commercial Arbitration Rules. Claims under this dollar amount may be resolved in small claims court. Judgment on the arbitrator's award may be entered in any court with jurisdiction. The arbitrator’s ruling is conclusive and not subject to appeal. Neither party may pursue litigation except as provided herein, with small claims disputes handled in small claims court and arbitration rulings enforceable in federal or applicable state courts.

Class Action Waiver

By placing any bid, you agree that any claim must be made individually, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any alleged class, collective, representative, multiple plaintiffs, or similar process (“Class Action”). The parties explicitly forgo their respective rights to bring a class action in any forum. The arbitrator is not authorized to consolidate or aggregate comparable claims, to undertake class actions, or to grant an award to a person or entity that is not a party to the arbitration. Any allegation that this Class Action Waiver is unenforceable, unconscionable, invalid, or voidable in whole or in part may be resolved solely by a court of competent jurisdiction, not by an arbitrator. The parties acknowledge that they would have been entitled to litigate in court, to have their matter decided by a judge or jury, and to participate in a class or representative action. However, the parties recognize and agree that any disputes should be resolved individually, through arbitration based on the section above.
