The Baccarat puffed heart that I purchased was damaged. When picking it up from Harold Reed / Old Wagon Antique, one side was covered with tape and its residue. Same thing with a Baccarat cat that I had purchased. I thought this was strange but said nothing. At home, when I removed the tape and its sticky residue, I was disheartened (yes, pun intended) to find that it was covering lots of gouge marks, as if someone tried to remove the tape with a pointed knife, or the tape was placed on to conceal the damage. Although fewer in number, the cat had gouge marks on it, too. Had this been disclosed, I would have never bid on these items. The items were photographed on a mottled gray slate background camouflaging the damage, and the damaged side was not photographed. The description for both items stated, "Item is in good previously owned condition and may have minor imperfections due to age and use". All listed auction items had the exact same description. When I sent a message to Harold Reed inquiring if these two and other items I was considering had any imperfections, etc. I did not receive a response. I would never purchase anything from this store again. Buyer beware.
