This was found to be a fraudulent painting. I attempted to clear this up with the auctioneer and asked to return it to get my money back. They refused. I don't care that it says sales are final. It doesn't say this painting is "in the manner of Gilot", the auction clearly states it's a painting BY Francoise Gilot. It is not. I have attempted to get my charge back from my bank and I will be contacting the FBI fraud department as well as the BBB etc. This is not the first case of this auctioneer selling fake merchandise as you can now see by the negative feedback.
