Gordon Russell Arts & Crafts Walnut And Yew Sideboard With Lattice Back, Circa 1925- Appraisal $30,000

An English Arts & Crafts sideboard by Gordon Russell Workshops, Worcestershire, dating to circa 1925. The piece is constructed in walnut with contrasting yew crossbanding and features a distinctive lattice-formed superstructure above the rectangular top. The base is arranged with two short drawers over a single long drawer with an arched spandrel beneath, flanked by paneled cupboard doors on either side, each enclosing a single shelf. The drawers retain their ebonized handles, complementing the warm tones of the wood. Raised on square legs with box stretchers, the design reflects the restrained craftsmanship and functional elegance associated with the Arts & Crafts movement.

Condition:
Good overall condition consistent with age and use. Some minor surface wear and small marks are visible to the wood. Structurally sound and presents well.
