Item Description

Circular porcelain snuff box featuring a hand-painted lid with a romantic pastoral scene of a seated couple in a landscape. The lid is bordered with applied blue floral decoration in relief. The sides are fitted with ornate gilt metal mounts with repeating classical motifs over a white porcelain ground.

Condition:
Light wear to the gilt metal with minor rubbing and patina. Porcelain appears intact with no visible cracks. Minor wear consistent with age. Overall good condition.chip to inner lip not seen while being displayed
