This is a very nice handmade 19 century German stoneware beer stein with a pewter top.
This stein is stamped Jos.M. Meyer Munchen ( Joseph M. Meyer Munich Germany ) very well known and listed stein maker. Decoration translates to “ drink to Munich “
Very heavy and first rate quality. The pewter top is in great condition. This is a 1 Liter stein. Great color and design. Made in Germany
