Antique Glazed Hand Thrown Large Confit Jar With Handles

Here we have a very nice antique confit jar with handles and is partially glazed in a warm butterscotch glaze. There is some flaking on unglazed portion. See pictures.

The jar has a great shape and has. Even glazed on the upper part of the jar, with the lower part of the jar remaining in its original fired state.

The jar measures 10” in height and has an opening at vase mouth of approximately 7”. The jar at its widest is approximately 9” in diameter and 4.5” at the base.

A few spots of glaze is missing from the rim of the jar due to age and use however does not affect the overall look.
