Description:
Vintage hand-painted Middle Eastern desert scene on stretched animal hide, mounted in a rustic twig-and-twine frame. Artwork features a caravan of camels in front of ornate Islamic architecture with turquoise domes, minarets, and arched gates. Likely a 1960s–1980s tourist piece from the Persian or Central Asian region. Hide shows expected age wear, some cracking and surface discoloration. Frame is handmade from natural branches with original twine lacing. Measures approximately 12” x 10”. Unique boho-style wall décor.
