This vintage folding bellows instant camera, part of the popular 100-400 series, was manufactured between 1971 and 1977. Designed as a consumer-friendly model, it offers a classic retro aesthetic with its gray and black metal construction.
The Model 420 was originally designed for Type 100 peel-apart packfilm. While mass production has ended, there are a few ways to still get images from this camera such as expired stock, "One Instant" film, and DIY film modifications. To use any film, the Polaroid 420 requires a battery to operate its electronic shutter. Most units use a 3V alkaline battery, but many owners convert the battery compartment to use standard AAA batteries for easier replacement.
Please note, this item has not been tested for functionality. Certain areas of this item are rusted.
