Item Description

Framed reproduction of the painting Weatherbeaten by American artist Winslow Homer.
The original artwork, painted in 1894, depicts the raw power of the Atlantic Ocean crashing against the rocky coast of Prouts Neck, Maine.
It is a prime example of Homer's later works, which focused intensely on the natural forces of the sea rather than human subjects.
The original painting is currently part of the collection at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Measures approximately 31.5" x 20". Pre-owned condition. Framed in a thick real wood frame.
