Item Description

Six Studio and Contemporary Ceramic Vessels, 20th Century. Comprising a Shearwater Pottery bowl, circa 1935, by Peter Anderson (1901-1984), in shaded lavender high glaze, "SHEARWATER" mark printed in black; and a turned stoneware vase in green-brown glaze, the interior in blue, incised "DEUTSCH;" a Christa Assad (b. Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, 1970) vase in white glaze, impressed "CA" triangle mark; an Earthborn, Leeds, Alabama red stoneware oval dish in "Hazel" glaze, impressed mark; a glazed stoneware leaf-shaped dish, incised "Beck;" and a Richard Ginori footed bowl in indigo glaze, Italia mark "RICHARD GINORI/ 26-7-35/ MADE IN ITALY" and handwritten "690 T."
