Item Description

Vintage gold tone leaf and floral brooch collection from makers including Trifari, Coro and Krementz.
Leaf brooch is marked Coro 1961.

Largest measures 3" long.

The Coro Company was founded in New York in the early 1900s by Emanuel Cohn and Carl Rosenberger. The name CORO was a combination of the first two letters of their last names.
The Krementz Company, founded in 1866, originally manufactured men’s jewelry. Two families, the Krementz and Lester families, shared ownership of the business.
Trifari was founded as Trifari and Trifari in 1910 by Gustavo Trifari and his uncle. The name became Trifari when his uncle left a few years later. Leo Kraussman joined the company in 1917, followed by Carl Fishel. retrokandyvintage.com
