Item Description

Gibson & Sons was a Staffordshire pottery company known for manufacturing tea ware, particularly teapots, in the late 19th and early 20th centuries in Burslem, England. They were known for their high quality teapots, some of which were hand-painted and decorated with gold luster or floral designs. The company was founded in 1875 and produced teapots until the mid l900's when it was acquired by Mineral Separations. Marked in gold on bottom 129M.
