An unusual vintage portable EMERSON Bakelite tube radio, dating to 1948. It was created at the cusp of Art Deco and Modernism, with influences of both. The lid cinches in place, protecting the deck. It is in very good overall condition and includes original box. Box is in solid overall condition, especially considering it is nearly 80 years old. No cord present, so untested, but a wonderful radio regardless.
