Item Description

Phinney-Walker was a company known for manufacturing automobile and travel alarm clocks, particularly during the mid-20th century. Founded in the early 1900s in New York, they initially produced their own clocks, including popular automobile clocks. By the 1930s, they transitioned to a marketing and distribution company, outsourcing production to various manufacturers in Germany, Japan, Switzerland, and the USA. Phinney-Walker is particularly remembered for their travel alarm clocks, which were heavily advertised in the 1950s. The company is believed to have ceased operations around the 1970s.
