An elegant Baker Furniture Federal-style sideboard crafted in richly figured crotch mahogany with satinwood-toned oval inlay and refined crossbanding. The serpentine bow-front case features a central drawer over a graceful arched apron, flanked by convex cabinet doors fitted with Baker’s classic round brass pulls. Raised on slender square-tapered legs with cuff details, the form closely references American Hepplewhite and Sheraton prototypes of the late 18th century.
The exceptional veneer selection and crisp line work are characteristic of Baker’s historic revival productions, executed with fine cabinetmaking and balanced Federal proportions. A versatile serving cabinet or console suitable for dining room, entry, or living space.
