Item Description

E.G. Webster used the spiderweb marking with the letter "W" inside from 1879 to 1928 which dates this piece. They began silverplating in 1860 and underwent many name changes as different partnerships were formed and dissolved. The company was sold to International Silver Co 1961 and the trade mark was changed to Webster Wilcox It was sold to Oneida Silversmiths 1981.
