Item Description

A very fine grouping of 4 antique Middle Eastern silver coasters, clad in gold, with ornate design work. They are marked PAK 94 SIL, a mark used by period silversmiths in the region to indicate SOLID silver. They have been further tested and guaranteed to be of high silver content. Circa 1900+. All are heavily clad in 24K gold. In the Middle East [Morocco or Pakistan], they were used by people of means as rests for coffee cups. 5.69 troy ounces of silver weight alone [pure silver is over $34- an ounce as of time of posting]. Very good overall condition considering age. On 2, some gold gilding loss, expected with age and usage, but they are stunning in person. Not seen often, but we are opening it for $1 with no reserve.
