Vintage 1984 Patrick Loughran Art Pottery Abstract Pastel Cup & Saucer Set (Pair)

A playful and rare pair of handmade ceramic cup and saucer sets by studio ceramicist Patrick Loughran, dated 1984. These expressive pieces capture the bold, postmodern energy of 1980s art pottery with hand-painted pastel abstract designs and asymmetrical forms that make each set truly one-of-a-kind.

The cups feature sculpted, organic rims and are paired with coordinating saucers in soft, painterly hues of green, pink, blue, and lavender. Glazed with a mix of matte and glossy finishes over exposed terracotta bases, this set exemplifies Loughran’s signature approach to form and surface.
