"Jacob Lawrence: The Migration Series" - Exhibition Poster, MoMA 1995

The Migration Series," held at The Museum of Modern Art, New York, from January 12, 1995, to April 11, 1995. This poster is a celebration of one of the most significant series of American art in the 20th century by the renowned artist Jacob Lawrence.
The poster features a striking image from The Migration Series, showcasing Lawrence's unique style and vivid storytelling through art. The bold colors and dynamic figures encapsulate the emotion and movement characteristic of the Great Migration, the subject of the series which depicts the mass movement of African Americans from the rural South to the urban North.

We invite everyone to join us for an in-person preview of the items from Thursday through Saturday, 10 am to 2 pm. Keep in mind that photographs may not capture all details accurately.
