Charming antique German relief decorated wine pitcher / jug measuring approx. 7.5” tall. Beautiful raised grapevine and leaf motif around the body with German script panel on the front. Traditional salt glaze style finish in earthy tan / brown tones.

German text reads:
“Wein – im froher Rund, Frohsinn – zu jeder Stund”
(“Wine – in merry company, cheerfulness – at every hour.”)

A wonderful classic German tavern style display piece with detailed molded decoration and side handle.
