Beautiful antique Chinese carved wood panel featuring an intricate high relief scene with figures, pagoda style structure, tree and decorative motifs. This panel is heavily gilded with red lacquer beneath, creating a striking contrast where age wear shows through. The carving is highly detailed with layered depth and traditional Chinese storytelling imagery often found in old architectural elements, altar carvings, or furniture fragments.

Antique age wear present including cracks, losses to gilt and wood in some areas, and edge wear. Red lacquer exposed in areas as shown. Please see all photos for details.
