A striking antique Persian Qajar-era tile, hand-painted with a vivid equestrian hunting scene featuring a mounted archer aiming his bow at a winged mythical creature. This 7-inch square ceramic tile is a wonderful example of 19th-century Middle Eastern craftsmanship, characterized by expressive lines, natural pigments, and traditional Islamic artistry.
*The back retains remnants of old mortar, suggesting it was once part of an architectural setting or wall panel. There are visible age-related cracks and edge wear, consistent with its age and history, yet the piece remains stable and visually captivating.
