an antique Dutch hand-painted ceramic bottle or flask, dating to the 1920s, measuring approximately 5.5 inches tall. This unusual decorative piece features charming folk art style scenes including a traditionally dressed Dutch figure standing by the water with a sailboat and a classic windmill landscape on the reverse.

The bottle is beautifully hand painted with soft pastel colors and fine detailing typical of Dutch Gouda pottery from the early 20th century. The underside is marked “188 Gouda, Holland”, indicating its origin in the well-known Dutch pottery center of Gouda.

Originally produced as a decorative bottle or flask, this piece has a flattened shape and small side spout opening. The painted scenes and craftsmanship give it a wonderful folk art character that displays beautifully.
