Fiber Hackle

It is a large comb with sharp, stainless steel pins used to align fibers for spinning and blending.
The pins are often set in a wooden base and the tool can be used to produce worsted yarn or roving.
Hackle can be found in single or double row configurations.
A diz, a small tool with a hole, is often used to draw the fiber off the hackle.
