Vintage Choctaw River Basket

Traditional Choctaw river cane gathering basket, handcrafted with semi-aquatic grass native to the US. Baskets are known for their polychrome patterns by weaving different colored strips of cane into the basket.

Notes: Condition is consistant with age. Part near handle to basket needs to be glued. Photographs are considered part of the description and condition and supersede all written descriptions.
