Ralph Cieslik attended the Art Institute in Chicago, receiving both a BFA and MFA in painting. Later he attended UW- Milwaukee receiving a BS in Art Education. Mr Cieslik taught art in the Milwaukee Public School System and played an important role in the development of the elementary art curriculum.
Professionally, he was a member of Wisconsin Painters and Sculptors - known today as Wisconsin Visual Artists - exhibiting widely, winning numerous awards.
