19th Century Carved Wood Side Chair With Caned Seat

A 19th-century carved wood side chair featuring a shaped crest rail and decorative carved splat with central shell motif and floral detailing. The chair features woven cane seat and rests on gently curved front legs joined by stretchers. The warm-toned wood makes this handsome antique chair suitable as a side chair, desk chair, or accent piece in traditional interiors.
