Charming vintage hand-carved and hand-painted wooden mallard drake decoy. Features glass eyes, detailed feather painting, and a classic working-decoy form. The underside is inscribed:
“Mallard – drake / Anas platyrhynchos / Jane Butler.”
Measures 11.5" long.
Condition: Wear consistent with age, including damage to the neck.
Tip of the bill shows a chip. Still displays very well. See images for details.
