Hand carved from one piece of heavy wood, possibly Central or West Africa. The dark, polished wood, the stylized and exaggerated human forms, and the intense, almost symbolic physical interaction between the figures are common features in traditional African woodcarving.
Measures 5.75" x 6.75".
Good condition with minor splits to base.
