Pair of finely detailed 19th-century engravings depicting classical female allegorical figures.
The first, titled Aurora, shows a graceful female figure in a natural setting, engraved after a work by J. L. Hamon, with engraving credited to J. Levasseur and published by D. Appleton & Co., New York.
The second, titled Flora, presents a classical standing figure holding flowers, engraved by J. H. Baker after a sculpture by R. J. Wyatt, with London publication noted.
Measure approx. 10"x 7" without margins.
Condition: Moderate age-related toning, scattered foxing, and light staining visible (notably along margins and verso). Minor handling wear and edge wear present. Unframed and printed on wove paper.
A decorative and collectible pair of classical engravings, suitable for framing.
