Small 19th C. Japanese Bronze Vase - Baluster Form With Dark Patina

Small 19th century Japanese bronze vase, formed in a classical baluster-shaped vessel with rounded shoulders, short neck, and subtly flared rim. The vase is cast in bronze and finished with a rich, dark patina, displaying natural variations in tone with areas of reddish-brown and subtle green oxidation developed over time.
The form reflects traditional Japanese bronze vessel designs of the Edo to early Meiji period, often produced as decorative objects for the home, scholar’s desk, or altar display.
