Original French Art Nouveau Sculpture Spelter Lamp " Le Torrent"

Attractive Art Nouveau style figural table lamp featuring a classical igure accompanied by a cherub standing beneath flowing floral branches that form multiple light arms. The sculptural composition is inspired by the work of French sculptor Auguste Moreau and bears the title “Le Torrent.” The base is marked “E. Torrenti – Bruchon,” a foundry or decorative arts maker known for producing bronzed metal sculptures and lighting in the late 19th–early 20th century.
The lamp is cast in dark patinated metal (spelter) with detailed modeling of the figures and stylized flowers typical of the Art Nouveau period. Multiple flower-form sockets extend from naturalistic stems, creating a dramatic sculptural lighting piece. Mounted on a round base.
Measures approx. 26" x 24".
Good condition with some wear to finish. Needs new cord, the original one is deteriorated.
