Hand-carved and painted loon decoy, finely detailed and realistically executed, featuring a dark green head with red glass eyes, black body with white spotting, and a white breast. The form is well balanced with crisp carving and careful surface decoration.
The underside is stamped “Decoys Ltd.” with a tree logo and marked “Handcrafted for The Canadian Carver,” and is additionally signed on the base, as photographed.
Measures 11.75", approximately life-size for a loon decoy.
