Early hand-carved wooden duck hunting decoy featuring a rounded head, carved feather texture, and original painted surface in dark brown with white breast. The decoy retains glass inset eyes and a metal keel weight on the underside.
The body shows strong hand-carving marks and aged working paint, giving the piece authentic folk art and working-decoy character typical of early American hunting decoys. Signed "Victor".
Measures 14" long.
