Antique Early 19th C. Empire Sugar Bowl With A Crystal Bowl Over Sculptural Swan

Beautiful antique sugar bowl featuring a cut crystal bowl supported by a silver swan figure, raised on a repoussé-decorated circular base. The underside bears a shield-shaped maker’s mark and an engraved name reading name such as "Lavalle" or possibly “R. Keller” (illegible) written in a script font.
The side of the base is monogrammed “JM.”
Most likely silver-plated metal rather than solid silver.
Measures 4.25" tall.
Condition:
The crystal bowl shows a few small chips along the rim. The metal stand and base exhibit surface wear, tarnish, and areas of oxidation consistent with age and use. Structurally sound and displays well.
