Antique "Our Boys" embossed mirror/wall rack commemorating the Spanish-American War of 1898, featuring raised portraits labeled “Dewey” and “Schley” flanking a U.S. eagle and shield motif. Decorative scrolling border and original hanging chain with three small brass hooks for keys, pipes, or small items.
Made circa 1898–1905 as a patriotic souvenir piece following the war.
Back shows original wood support with remnants of old wallpaper. Has a hanging chain.
Measures 18" x 18".
Condition: Honest antique condition with patina, oxidation, scattered spotting, and wear consistent with age. Hooks intact. Missing a mirror. See photos for details.
