19th Century Tibetan Repousse Copper Alloy Bird-Form Ewer With Mythical Beasts

Tibetan copper alloy ewer dating to the 19th century, finely modeled in the form of a stylized bird. The vessel is richly decorated in repoussé with mythical beasts, scrolling foliage, and traditional geometric borders. The curved spout takes the shape of a bird’s head, while the hinged lid is surmounted by a mask-like creature with ring handles rising from the top.
Measures 13.5" x 9".
Condition: Good antique condition with age-related wear, surface patina, and minor seam cracks consistent with hammered copper alloy construction. Hinged lid present and functioning.
