Item Description

Jean-Louis Gregoire Paris, France (B. 1840-1890). He exhibited at the Paris Salon from 1867 and became one of the first associates of the Artistes Français. He has many auction records. This piece is very large, 30"H x 13" W The mother reprimanding her child and holding his ear. The artistry is incredible, from the clothing down to her hands and feet. Exquisite piece of art!
