A pair of French gilt bronze vases, each baluster of form with scalloped everted lip cast with gilt foliate and berry swags, foliate collar and twig-form handles; now mounted as table lamps with off-white tapered shade. Léon Kann (20th century). Circa 1920. Signed L. Kann on side. Stamped Siot Paris and numbered 5144. Gross height of each: 31 1/4 inches. Base height of each: 18 1/2 inches. Provenance: Ciancimino, London, sale February 20, 1998
