Here is a lovely 1800 silver-plate butter dish with a curved ‘roll top’ lid.
* this is a very ornate pedestal butter dish, with leaves and berry patterns around the edges
* the lid top has the name ‘Cordelia’, and the paper that explains origin notes “ Cordelia Rockwell Miller Grant, 1800was her mothers butter dish”.
* this dish also has a silver plated butter knife (not originally with this dish).
