2 Antique Henry Matier & Co. Handkerchief Boxes With Victorian Era Illustrations

Here we have 2 original Henry Matier & Company handkerchief boxes circa late 1800’s.
* the boxes each have Victorian women’s faces and are embossed.
* the smaller of the two handkerchief boxes has a cover with Greek ‘key’ design on the box with an oval ‘frame’ of a young woman’s profile with a ornate hat, and light brown curled hair. The box indicates this once held hand stitched linen handkerchiefs within. The back of the box indicates this was the no. 96 style. Measures12” x 12”.
* the second handkerchief box has an oval .full face lithograph of a young woman with dark hair, pearls, & yellow flowers in her hair. The outer part of this box has a floral design, and measures 12.5” x 12.5”
