Pick-up for this auction will occur at a private residence, with the address provided to each winning bidder via email after the auction ends. Requests to pick-up outside of the pick-up time frame will be denied, regardless of the reason, and the item(s) forfeited without refund if the items are not retrieved within the allotted time frame. If you cannot make the pick-up time please send someone in your place with a signed copy of your invoice, or do not bid. We will not transport or store your items so that you can pick up at a later date - please do not ask.
In-house shipping is available on items marked with a black and white "package" on the upper right corner of each listing.
All shipping requests must be made and confirmed as received by our auction house no later than FRIDAY, OCTOBER 31ST. Requests made after this date will be denied, and the item(s) forfeited without refund.
TERMS: ALL SALES ARE FINAL. All items are sold AS IS, WHERE IS. We do not accept returns, credits or exchanges. Bidders are strongly encouraged to ask any questions prior to bidding. Winning bidders are responsible for performing their own due diligence prior to bidding. We do our best to examine and accurately describe the items as they are presented to us. However, we cannot guarantee authenticity, type of artwork, type of metals or gemstones used in jewelry lots, or that the items are free of defects, wear and tear. Please refer to photos as part of the description. SJD Auctions will do its best to list any damage, repairs or restorations. The absence of these descriptions / conditions do not imply that the lot is in perfect condition. Most of the items SJD Auctions sells are vintage, antique or used. Please expect signs of wear consistent with age / use. We will not issue refunds or accept returns due to winning bidder's failure to look at the photos or read the descriptions. By bidding on our items you are agreeing to these terms.

PAYMENT: Payment is due upon receipt of invoice and will be charged to your credit card on file. Any other forms of payment must be approved by SJD Auctions. If you are a dealer, please upload your tax exempt certificate upon registration. If you do not have a valid tax id on file you will be charged tax.
Winning Bidders must bring help, if required, for large/ heavy items and proper packaging materials/ moving blankets for smaller items. WE DO NOT PROVIDE MATERIALS OR ASSISTANCE MOVING OR PACKING YOUR ITEMS, PLEASE COME PREPARED - ANY ITEMS ABANDONED ON PREMISES WILL INCUR A $50 FEE PER ITEM WHICH WILL BE CHARGED TO THE CREDIT CARD ON FILE.
IN-HOUSE SHIPPING: Small to medium items will be shipped via USPS Ground Advantage, FedEx OR UPS Ground / Home Delivery, or via other USPS services such as Media Mail when appropriate. Please note, we cannot provide a shipping quote on multiple lots until after the auction closes, when we have an exact weight and box dimension to input into the delivery database. For a single item, you may contact us prior to bidding for an approximate quote. Due to the volume of shipment requests, it may take us 10-14 business days to provide a shipping invoice, which will be sent by email via Stripe, our credit card processing company. This email will contain a secure payment link which will allow you to complete the order. Once the shipping invoice is paid, we will send a confirmation email to your e-mail address on file with tracking information.
Please confirm your Auction Ninja address on file is correct as we will ONLY ship to the mailing address as it appears on your invoice. Any additional cost incurred because of an incorrect address will be the responsibility of the buyer. We will bill your Auction Ninja card on file through Stripe.com.
We will assess a $15.00 handling fee per package for jewelry, book and ephemera lots, in addition to the actual shipping cost. For in-house approved artworks we charge a minimum $25 handling fee per framed artwork plus shipping - additional handling charges may apply to artworks measuring 30 inches or more. Loose / unframed artworks will typically be combined into one package with a $25 handling fee. For box lots (except pottery lots) / home decor / seasonal items / toys / multi-lot orders, we charge a $25 handling fee PER PACKAGE (NOT PER ITEM) plus shipping - PLEASE NOTE THAT WE DO OUR BEST TO COMBINE SHIPPING WHENEVER POSSIBLE. Pottery lots will incur a $25 handling fee per lot (not per package). These handling fees are in place to cover materials used, employee labor costs and credit card processing fees. If the shipping invoice is not paid within 7 days of receipt, bidder agrees to forfeit the items without refund.
THIRD-PARTY SHIPPING: if you are not sure if an item qualifies for in-house shipping, please contact us prior to bidding. If you require shipping for large items, such as furniture, mirrors or large art works, please contact a reputable company and make arrangements for the items to be collected during the official pick-up window: Saturday, November 1st from 12pm-3pm. We will not make exceptions if your delivery company cannot accommodate the pick-up window. Please confirm their availability prior to bidding.
