Rare Split Leg Period William And Mary Gate Leg Dropleaf Table C. Mid 1600s

A very early walnut gate leg table. It is a very rare form with a split leg design. The table is all original including the drop pendant pull on the drawer. The secondary wood for the drawer is pine indicating that it is early American. The table has many old repairs to the top and the leafs. Repairs are consistent with age. Overall condition is good and the table is sturdy. Dimensions are: 29” tall x 40” wide x 18 1/4” deep. Dimensions with table open: 59 3/4”. Condition: Good, see photos for various condition issues and old repairs.
