Item Description

This is a 1950's vintage SSS (Shioji) tin lithographed friction toy car, modeled after a 1925 Packard Sedan.
Manufactured by Shioji & Co. (SSS) of Japan, has the original production plate S-1925. Constructed from tin with lithographed details. Features a blue body, a cream-colored roof, and yellow wheels with red interior and green dashboard. It is a friction-powered toy car but the forward function is not working (pulling back seems to activate friction mechanism but does not drive forward on its own). Has considerable dirt and some oxidation. One wheel is loose and there are some dings but all parts appear to be present including the rear wheel and bumper which are frequently missing on this car.
